Italy  Continuing our breeze through the western Mediterranean, we spent too brief a time in Carol’s beloved Italy (we’ll be back!). We did an overnight passage from Menorca, Spain to Isolo di San Pietro on the south-west coast of Sardinia, Italy, then on to Palermo, Sicily for a few days. We then took off for a long “motor” down the east coast of Siclily through the Straits of Messina across to the boot of Italy (yes, missing Syracusa in Sicily and all of those ancient ruins!), to Brindisi where we jumped across the Adriatic Sea for Croatia.
